I would Deff take the money and run....Could get yaya toure for 14/15 (That is what barca value him at) and buy an additional CB to either cover or replace Gallas, i know a lot of people will want to see the money spent on a striker but i think we are still well equipped with RVP, Eduardo, Bendtner, Walcott and Vela....lets face it how unlucky would we have to be for RVP and Eduardo to be out most of the season again!

Take the money! Adebayor is not the fame, Arsenal is. The club makes even an average player looks so good many big clubs start flying about to buy. Afterall who wanted to buy Ade when Monaco released him? Only Arsenal. The team works for players and make them excel. I think whoever comes as a striker after him will hit it big. Only that Wenger should take Yayah and Eto' plus 20mil, and give Ade and Helb. Then we shall wait for the stampede of trophies next season.

You would have to say that £30million is alot of money for any player but in regards to Ade it is a hell of alot of money. Yes he scored 30 goals last season but that was mainly because RVP was out of the team, when they did play together at the begining of the season RVP was smashing the goals in. 300% profit on a player who has had 1 good season is something I would take and spend on CB and another FW. Midfield can be filled with Rosicky, Fabregas, Diaby and Nasri. Wenger please give Diaby a chance

Any player who starts caring more about the money than the game shouldn't play. I can't imagine that a manager would want a guy with that attitude in his squad. Take the money, buy Villa or Podolski. Or better yet, buy someone cheap with potential that can be fulfilled instantly.

I admit £30million for a player after one good season would be hard to turn down, but who would we buy to replace him? The names touted so far (Eto'o, Villa, Podolski etc.) are all players of Eduardo or Van Persie's mould. I can't think of any reasonable targets who could provide us the dimension Ade provides. Before people jump in with jokes about him providing us with missed oppotunities, I'm referring to his ability to hold the ball up and an aerial threat. I see Bendtner as a natural replacement, but I don't think he's ready yet. So who would be a decent like for like replacement?
